With a distinct blend of her sweet soprano voice and her storytelling skills, Julia Gartha is a pop singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who is taking the music world by storm. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production, she broke onto the scene when invited by Oscar/Grammy winning composer A.R. Rahman to collaborate. 

 

As a classically trained pianist, music quickly became her way of communication. By combining Julia’s vocal talent with her keyboard skills, she began writing original music and arranging cover tunes. She has opened for Grammy Nominated Country/Pop artist Ingrid Andress, and has collaborated alongside legends like Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell) and Rob Lewis (Toni Braxton). 

 

Additionally, Julia has also performed for the likes of Andrew Lloyd Webber , Sylvia Rhone (Epic Records) and Scott Borchetta (Big Machine Records). Julia’s music has reached millions. Her most popular single "Serendipity” has reached over 3 million streams on Spotify alone, with over 100,000 monthly listeners. With international recognition and endorsements from sources like WeFoundNewMusic, toronto.com, CASIO, and Audeze, Julia is definitely an artist to look out for
